School and after-school groups use auditorium daily. Current lights cast shadows, making steep floor unsafe, and use expensive short-life bulbs. New LED retrofit will fix safety and cost issues.

D13 Town Hall with the Chancellor!

Chancellor Fariña is coming to District 13 on Tuesday, May 3rd for a CEC-sponsored Town Hall! Location: P.S. 256, 114 Kosciuszko St.

CEC Sponsoring Forum on Testing, March 28th at P.S. 133

With the NY State tests coming in April, the CEC is sponsoring a forum to discuss the tests – including changes to the test this year, how the tests are used, why they’re controversial, and why some parent are considering opting their child out of the tests.

Please come with your questions or just to listen!  It’s at P.S. 133 from 6:30-8 pm.  See flyer for details.
