Want to be a part of Community Education Council 13? The first step is to attend this special information session on Monday January 26.
You are invited to learn more about the 2015 Education Council Elections on January 26th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This interactive session will be held at Tweed Courthouse, 52 Chambers Street, Manhattan 10007 and will include a Q&A session with current and former council members.
Education Councils offer parents an opportunity for District and Citywide Leadership with a strong voice in education policy. Attendees will learn about education councils and how to get involved in the elections.
- If you are a parent interested in serving as part of a Community or Citywide Education Council, you should attend.
- Community organizations and advocates will also learn how they can inform their constituents about this leadership opportunity.
